Libya is a North African country bordered by Egypt to the east, Sudan and Chad to the south, Niger, Algeria, and Tunisia to the west. Libya is mostly composed of desert terrains and has a hot desert climate. It has some of the largest oil reserves in Africa and is an important supplier of crude oil to Europe.
