The Air Superiority Fighter is a fixed-wing combat aircraft with the primary role of establishing total air dominance, ensuring that friendly ground units within the theater of operations remain safe from air attacks. Essentially these aircraft are specialized to destroy fixed wing and rotary wing targets but can also be directed to damage ground targets.
Air superiority fighters are vulnerable to support air defence systems, such as Mobile Anti-Air Vehicle's and Mobile SAM Launchers
Air superiority fighters have a HIGH signature for fixed-wing aircraft. Air superiority fighters require 1900 supplies, 1900 rare materials, and 4000 money to research.
