Naval Infantry

From Conflict of Nations Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search
Heavy infantry ready to deploy via land or sea in response to a local crisis or flashpoint. Trained in amphibious landings and urban warfare these soldiers bring the fight to the enemy.

Naval Infantry, also known as Marines, are infantry trained in amphibious landings and urban warfare, these soldiers embark and disembark at any coastline regardless of terrain or port access, and really pack a punch when assaulting enemy positions or in capturing port cities.

Research for marines; EU doctrine

Also note that these used to be more stronger when there were islands without harbours[1], but they can also be used to cross rivers and lakes before building pontoons and also to invade provinces in the mainland without harbours, where most players do not deploy troops to.

Tatics:

Since it is very expensive and needs a lot of stuff for production, it is suggested that this only be used in a planned invasion. It is also suggested that it be stacked with the Amphibious combat vehicle.
